6. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary for the operation of the Platform and Services, or where permitted or required by law.
This may include disclosure to the following categories of recipients.
6.1 Farmers, contractors and workers
Information entered into the Platform may be visible to, or shared with, other authorised users involved in the relevant job, quote, crew, work report, business relationship or transaction.
For example, a farmer may see information about a contractor’s quote, a contractor may see worker and crew information needed to manage a job, and workers may see job details or work report information relevant to their work. These may include hosting providers, cloud infrastructure providers, software providers, communications providers, analytics providers, payment processors, security providers, customer support tools, professional advisers and other operational providers.
Service providers may only use personal information for the purposes of providing services to us or as otherwise permitted by law and their applicable terms.
6.3 Payment and marketplace providers
Where payment or marketplace features are enabled, we may disclose information to payment processors, financial institutions, fraud prevention services, payout providers and related service providers to process transactions, manage payouts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet compliance obligations.

Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps required by Australian privacy law to ensure the information is handled appropriately, unless an exception applies. The countries in which information may be accessed or stored may change depending on the service providers we use from time to time.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
Security measures may include access controls, account authentication, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, backups, provider security controls, staff or contractor access restrictions and operational procedures designed to protect information.
No online platform, app, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users must also take care to protect their own accounts, credentials, devices and access permissions.
9. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Platform and Services, maintain records, manage jobs, quotes, work reports, payment records and business records, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, comply with legal obligations and support legitimate business needs.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the feature used, the relationship between users, legal or accounting requirements, dispute risk and operational needs.
When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or de-identify it, unless we are required or permitted to retain it by law.
10. Access and Correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to correct personal information if you believe it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading.
Some information may be available for you to view or update through your account. For other requests, you can contact WoolTech at [email protected] or through the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. We may refuse or limit access or correction where permitted by law, for example where giving access would unreasonably affect the privacy of others, reveal commercially sensitive information, prejudice an investigation or breach legal obligations. If we refuse a request, we will explain our reasons where required by law.
11. Complaints
If you have a concern or complaint about how we handle personal information, please contact WoolTech at [email protected] or through the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services and provide details of your concern.
We will consider your complaint and respond within a reasonable time. We may ask for further information so we can investigate properly.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant regulator.
12. Direct Communications and Notifications
We may send you service-related communications, including account notices, job notifications, quote updates, work report updates, payment-related notices, security alerts, support messages and changes to the Platform, Services, Terms of Service or policies.
Where we send marketing or promotional communications, we will do so in accordance with applicable laws. You may be able to opt out of marketing communications, but you may still receive service-related messages that are necessary for your account or use of the Services.
13. Children and Minors
The Platform and Services are intended for use by adults who can lawfully enter into and perform the relevant arrangements, or by authorised adult users acting for a business, farm, contractor or worker. WoolTech users must be 18 years or older unless WoolTech expressly states otherwise in legally reviewed written terms.

However, information about a minor may be entered into the Platform by an authorised adult user where this is lawful, appropriate for the relevant work or record, and handled in accordance with applicable employment, workplace, privacy and safety obligations.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children where it is not appropriate for the Services. If you believe personal information about a child or minor has been provided to us without appropriate authority, please contact WoolTech at [email protected] or through the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services.
14. De-Identified and Aggregated Information
We may use information in de-identified or aggregated form for analytics, reporting, product development, industry insights, service improvement, business planning and other lawful purposes.
Where information is properly de-identified, it is not intended to identify any individual.
15. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, payment providers, integrations or tools. Those third parties may collect and handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties except where required by law. You should review the privacy information provided by third parties before using their services.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform or made available through the Services, and the Last updated date will be changed.
If changes are material, we may take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by posting a notice, sending a service message or using another appropriate communication channel.
Your continued use of the Platform or Services after an updated Privacy Policy takes effect will be handled in accordance with the updated Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.
