WoolTech Worker Report Terms

Back to Legal documents

Last updated: 22 June 2026

Terminology note: In these documents, a grower and a farmer refer to the same wool-industry role: a person or business raising sheep for wool production.

WoolTech Worker Report Terms

1. About These Worker Report Terms

1.1 These Worker Report Terms explain how worker-submitted work reports may be created, submitted, reviewed, corrected, disputed, finalised, stored and used through the WoolTech Platform and Services.

1.2 These Worker Report Terms form part of the rules and information that apply to use of the Platform and Services provided by Wool Technology PTY LTD (ACN 679 334 331, ABN 23 679 334 331) trading as Wool.Tech, WoolTech and wool.tech.

1.3 These Worker Report Terms should be read together with the WoolTech Terms of Service and any other WoolTech policies, notices or product rules that apply to a user’s account, job, quote, work report, records, notifications, payment or marketplace features.

1.4 If there is any inconsistency between these Worker Report Terms and the WoolTech Terms of Service, the WoolTech Terms of Service apply to the extent of the inconsistency.

2. Key Words Used in These Worker Report Terms

2.1 WoolTech means Wool Technology PTY LTD (ACN 679 334 331, ABN 23 679 334 331) trading as Wool.Tech, WoolTech and wool.tech.

2.2 Platform means WoolTech’s websites, including wool.tech and marketplace.wool.tech, and any related applications, portals, tools, account areas, systems, software, mobile or web interfaces and digital services made available by WoolTech.

2.3 Services means the services, features and functionality made available by WoolTech through or in connection with the Platform, including account, job posting, quote, crew management, work reporting, records, notifications, payment or marketplace features where enabled, and related support or administration services.

2.4 Farmer means a user who posts, manages, accepts or participates in a shearing, wool-industry or related job through the Platform in the capacity of a property owner, property manager, farm business or other work requester.

2.5 Contractor means a user who provides, manages, quotes for or coordinates workers, crews or services for a job through the Platform.

2.6 Worker means a user who performs, records or reports work for a job through the Platform, whether engaged by a farmer, contractor or another party.

2.7 Job means a shearing, wool-industry or related work opportunity, booking, arrangement, task or project created, quoted, managed, recorded or reported through the Platform.

2.8 Quote means a price, estimate, offer, proposal or related commercial information submitted, accepted, managed or recorded through the Platform in connection with a job.

2.9 Work report means a record submitted or generated through the Platform about work performed or claimed to have been performed, including dates, times, roles, tasks, tallies, quantities, notes, location information, attachments, evidence, status information and related records where available.

3. Purpose of Worker-Submitted Work Reports

3.1 Work reports are intended to help farmers, contractors and workers keep practical operational records about jobs and work performed through or in connection with the Platform.

3.2 Work reports may help users manage job progress, crew records, communication, review, reconciliation, dispute handling and business administration.

3.3 Work reports are records only. Unless expressly stated by WoolTech in a separate applicable feature or agreement, work reports are not a payroll determination, employment determination, legal classification decision, tax determination, industrial relations determination, invoice approval, payment guarantee or legal admission by WoolTech.

3.4 Farmers, contractors and workers remain responsible for their own legal, employment, tax, payroll, superannuation, insurance, workplace safety, industrial relations and record-keeping obligations.

4. Submitting a Work Report

4.1 A worker may submit a work report through the Platform where the relevant feature is available for the job, account, role or workflow.

4.2 A worker must submit work reports honestly, accurately and in good faith, using the information available to them at the time of submission.

4.3 A worker must not knowingly submit false, misleading, incomplete, inflated, duplicated or inappropriate work report information.

4.4 A worker should submit a work report as soon as reasonably practical after the relevant work is performed, or within any timing required by the job, quote, contractor, farmer, Platform workflow or applicable WoolTech policy.

4.5 Where a job, contractor, farmer or Platform workflow requires daily, shift-based, milestone-based or end-of-job reporting, the worker should follow that requirement unless there is a reasonable basis not to do so.

5. Accuracy and Completeness

5.1 A work report should include the information reasonably required by the Platform workflow and the relevant job arrangement, which may include dates, times, location, role, tasks, tallies, mob or shed details, equipment details, breaks, incidents, notes and other work-related information.

5.2 A worker is responsible for checking that the information they submit is accurate and complete before submission.

5.3 If a worker becomes aware that a submitted work report is inaccurate or incomplete, the worker should use any available correction feature or promptly contact the relevant contractor, farmer or [email protected] or the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services, as appropriate.

5.4 Farmers and contractors should review work reports in a reasonable time and should not ignore information that appears inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated or disputed.

6. Evidence and Attachments

6.1 Where the Platform allows evidence or attachments to be added to a work report, users should upload only material that is relevant, lawful, accurate and appropriate.

6.2 Evidence may include photos, notes, job records, tallies, timesheets, messages, location-related information or other supporting information where the Platform supports those features.

6.3 A user must not upload evidence or attachments that are unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, misleading, confidential without authority, invasive of privacy, unsafe, malicious or unrelated to the job.

6.4 Users should avoid including unnecessary personal information, sensitive information or information about third parties in a work report or attachment.

6.5 Uploading evidence does not guarantee that the evidence will be accepted, verified, relied on, retained permanently or treated as conclusive proof of the matter reported.

7. Review by Contractors and Farmers

7.1 A submitted work report may be visible to, reviewed by or actioned by a relevant contractor, farmer or other authorised user connected with the job, depending on the Platform settings and workflow.

7.2 Contractors and farmers should review work reports in good faith and in the context of the job, quote, crew arrangement and any applicable agreement between the relevant parties.

7.3 A contractor or farmer may accept, query, request correction of, comment on, dispute or otherwise process a work report where the relevant Platform feature is available.

7.4 Review or acceptance of a work report through the Platform does not by itself create an employment relationship, contractor relationship, payment obligation or legal determination by WoolTech.

7.5 Any payment, invoicing, payroll, employment, contractor or tax consequences remain subject to the arrangements and legal obligations between the relevant farmer, contractor, worker and any other applicable party.

8. Corrections and Updates

8.1 Where the Platform provides a correction or update feature, a worker, contractor or farmer may request or make corrections in accordance with the available workflow and applicable permissions.

8.2 Corrections should be made only to improve accuracy, completeness or clarity. Users must not alter records dishonestly or for the purpose of concealing errors, avoiding obligations or misleading another person.

8.3 The Platform may retain a record of original submissions, changes, timestamps, user actions, status changes, comments and other audit trail information where available.

8.4 If a correction cannot be made through the Platform, the relevant user should contact the appropriate contractor, farmer or [email protected] or the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services, depending on the nature of the issue.

9. Disputes About Work Reports

9.1 A farmer, contractor or worker may raise a query or dispute about a work report where they believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, unsupported, inconsistent with the job arrangement or otherwise requires review.

9.2 Users should raise disputes promptly and provide clear reasons and any relevant supporting information.

9.3 Users should attempt to resolve disputes respectfully and in good faith, using the Platform workflow where available and any applicable agreement or process between the relevant parties.

9.4 WoolTech may provide tools to help record, communicate or manage work report disputes, but WoolTech is not responsible for resolving every dispute between farmers, contractors and workers unless expressly required by the WoolTech Terms of Service or another applicable written agreement.

9.5 WoolTech may take reasonable action where a work report, dispute or user conduct appears to breach the WoolTech Terms of Service, these Worker Report Terms or another applicable WoolTech policy.

10. Finalisation of Work Reports

10.1 A work report may be marked or treated as submitted, reviewed, queried, disputed, accepted, rejected, corrected, finalised or otherwise processed according to the available Platform workflow.

10.2 Finalisation of a work report on the Platform is an operational record status. It does not by itself determine legal rights, employment status, payroll status, tax treatment, superannuation obligations, workers compensation obligations, insurance coverage, award coverage or any other legal obligation.

10.3 A finalised work report may be used by farmers, contractors or workers as part of their business records, subject to the WoolTech Terms of Service, applicable WoolTech policies and any legal obligations that apply to those users.

10.4 If a user believes a finalised work report is materially wrong, the user should promptly use any available dispute or correction process or contact the relevant contractor, farmer or [email protected] or the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services.

10.5 Where the Terms of Service, Payment Terms, Platform workflow or job-specific written terms specify a farmer review period, that review period affects work-report finalisation, payment-release or payment-status steps only to the extent stated in the applicable Platform workflow, Payment Terms or written terms.

11. Records, Audit Trails and System Information

11.1 The Platform may create and retain system records connected with work reports, including timestamps, user identifiers, account activity, submission status, review status, correction history, comments, notifications, attachments, device or technical information and other audit trail information where available.

11.2 Audit trail information may be used to operate the Platform, maintain records, investigate issues, support dispute management, protect users, enforce the WoolTech Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.

11.3 Users must not attempt to manipulate, bypass, falsify, delete or interfere with Platform records, audit trails, notifications or system information.

11.4 WoolTech does not guarantee that every user action, communication or work-related event will be captured by the Platform or available as a complete audit trail.

12. Retention, Access and Export

12.1 WoolTech may retain work reports and related records for as long as reasonably required for the operation of the Platform, legal and compliance purposes, dispute management, user support, business administration and as otherwise described in the WoolTech Terms of Service and applicable policies.

12.2 Where export, download or access features are available, users may use those features to keep copies of work reports for their own records.

12.3 Users are responsible for keeping any records they are legally required to keep outside the Platform, including records required for employment, payroll, tax, superannuation, insurance, workplace safety, industrial relations and accounting purposes.

12.4 WoolTech may not be able to recover, export or provide access to all work reports or related records in all circumstances, including where records have been deleted, anonymised, archived, corrupted, lawfully restricted, technically unavailable or retained only for a limited period.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

13.1 Work reports may include personal information about workers, farmers, contractors or other individuals.

13.2 Users must handle personal information in work reports responsibly, lawfully and consistently with the WoolTech Terms of Service, applicable privacy notices or policies and any privacy obligations that apply to them.

13.3 Users should not include unnecessary personal information, sensitive information, health information, identity documents, financial information or information about unrelated people in a work report unless it is genuinely required and permitted.

13.4 WoolTech may collect, use, disclose, store and handle work report information as described in the WoolTech Terms of Service, applicable privacy notices or policies and Platform workflows.

13.5 Users should use [email protected] or the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services if they have privacy questions, access or correction requests, or concerns about inappropriate disclosure of personal information through a work report.

14. Appropriate Content and Conduct

14.1 Work reports, comments, attachments and dispute communications must be professional, relevant and appropriate for a work-related platform.

14.2 Users must not use work reports to submit content that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, defamatory, misleading, fraudulent, malicious, unlawful, unsafe or unrelated to the relevant job.

14.3 Users must not submit content that infringes another person’s rights, including privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property or contractual rights.

14.4 WoolTech may remove, restrict, investigate or take action in relation to content or conduct that appears to breach the WoolTech Terms of Service, these Worker Report Terms or another applicable WoolTech policy.

15. Relationship with Job, Quote and Payment Features

15.1 Work reports may interact with job, quote, crew management, notification, payment or marketplace features where those features are available.

15.2 The existence, submission, review, acceptance or finalisation of a work report does not guarantee that a payment will be made, that a quote will be accepted, that an invoice will be approved or that any particular legal or commercial consequence will follow.

15.3 Payment, invoicing, deduction, payroll, tax, superannuation and other financial consequences are the responsibility of the relevant farmer, contractor, worker or other party, except to the extent WoolTech has expressly agreed otherwise in the WoolTech Terms of Service or another applicable written agreement.

16. User Responsibilities

16.1 Workers are responsible for submitting honest, timely and accurate work reports and for promptly raising any correction or dispute.

16.2 Contractors are responsible for reviewing work reports connected with their crews, workers or jobs and for managing related operational, payment and legal obligations that apply to them.

16.3 Farmers are responsible for reviewing work reports connected with their jobs and for managing related operational, payment and legal obligations that apply to them.

16.4 All users are responsible for using the Platform consistently with the WoolTech Terms of Service, these Worker Report Terms, applicable WoolTech policies and applicable laws.

17. WoolTech’s Role

17.1 WoolTech provides Platform and Services features that may help users create, submit, review, correct, dispute, finalise, store and export work reports where available.

17.2 WoolTech is not a party to every job, quote, work arrangement, employment arrangement, contractor arrangement or payment arrangement between farmers, contractors and workers, except to the extent expressly stated in the WoolTech Terms of Service or another applicable written agreement.

17.3 WoolTech does not guarantee the truth, completeness, legal effect or commercial effect of any work report submitted by a user.

17.4 WoolTech may rely on user-submitted information to operate the Platform and Services, but users remain responsible for the information they submit and the decisions they make based on work reports.

18. Changes to These Worker Report Terms

18.1 WoolTech may update these Worker Report Terms from time to time, including to reflect changes to the Platform, Services, work report features, legal requirements or business operations.

18.2 The version published or made available by WoolTech will apply as described in the WoolTech Terms of Service or any applicable update notice.

18.3 Users should review these Worker Report Terms and the WoolTech Terms of Service periodically to understand the terms that apply to their use of work report features.

19. Questions and Support

19.1 Users should use [email protected] or the support/contact channels made available on the Platform or Services for questions about work report features, access, corrections, exports, privacy concerns, inappropriate content or technical issues.

19.2 Legal, employment, tax, payroll, superannuation, insurance, workplace safety and industrial relations questions should be directed to appropriately qualified professional advisers. WoolTech does not provide legal, tax, payroll, employment or industrial relations advice through these Worker Report Terms.
